What does CompliAct actually do?

We track your license, CE, workers' comp and bond dates, book your CE, prepare the renewal for your signature, submit it once you approve, and send you the confirmation.

Do you renew my license without me?

No. Nothing is submitted until you approve and sign it. Some agencies need you to submit through your own online account; when that's the case we send step-by-step instructions and stay on it until it's in.

Do I need to get on a call?

No. Sign up online, fill out one intake form, and approve by email. If something needs a quick answer, we email you.

Do you take the CE course for me?

No. The license holder takes the course. We find an approved one that fits your schedule, book it, and track that it's done.

What do you need from me to start?

Your license number, the name on the license, qualifier details if you have one, any CE certificates from this cycle, and your workers' comp and bond details. The intake form walks you through it.

How much does it cost?

Renewal Concierge is $149 for one license renewal. Compliance Desk is $399 a year per company for all your state licenses.

Are state fees included?

No. State license fees and CE course fees are extra, passed through at cost with the receipt. We don't mark them up.

Can I cancel the Desk plan?

Yes, any time before your yearly renewal date. The current year runs to its end.

Do you charge more for a rush?

No. The price is the same, but the agency's processing time is out of our hands, so earlier is better.

Which states do you cover?

Texas A/C contractor licenses (TDLR) now. California (CSLB) is opening soon. Florida certified contractors (DBPR) open for the Aug 31, 2028 cycle.

What about electrical, plumbing or roofing licenses?

We're starting with Texas A/C contractors and adding license types state by state. Check your license on License Radar and join the reminder list; we'll tell you when yours is covered.

I hold licenses in more than one state. Can you handle all of them?

The Desk plan covers every state license your company holds in the states we serve.

How do you know my license details?

Accepted Answer

From public license records that the state agencies publish: TDLR, CSLB and DBPR. We don't have anything the state doesn't publish.

How did you get my email?

If we emailed you, it was the business email published on your website or business listings, matched to your public license record. Reply "no thanks" and we won't email again.

What do you do with my information?

We use it to track and renew your licenses and to send reminders you signed up for. Our processors are Supabase (data hosting), Resend (email) and Stripe (payments).

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Email team@compliact.com and we'll delete your account data, except what we're required to keep for tax or payment records. Public records stay public; we just stop using them for you.

No. CompliAct is a private service. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by TDLR, CSLB, DBPR or any government agency.

No. We do not give legal advice. For legal questions, talk to a lawyer.

Who is responsible if something is missed?

Accepted Answer

You remain responsible for your license, insurance and bonds. Our job is to help you file on time and keep the paper trail. Always confirm requirements with your agency.

Can you stop my license from being suspended?

We can't control what an agency decides. We can watch your dates, tell you early, and get your paperwork in on time.
